We were commissioned to create a mosaic peacock facade for an ophthalmologist's office, transforming their entryway into a captivating symbol of vision and beauty on a street otherwise characterized by urban utilitarian design.
A peacock stands watch above the entrance, the colors and patterns of his plumage giving way to abstraction as they cascade down beside the door. The bright colors and golden ornament of the mosaic complement the vibrancy of the neighborhood, one of New York's most diverse communities.
